One of the first things a PR practitioner learns while implementing different aspects of a campaign is a SWOT analysis. Some might say one of the most significant starting points to creating a PR objective, analyzing the; strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that face a company at the time. As a digital PR consultant the first step in analyzing the strengths of a company allows to be able to see where I will be spending my time to further the company in their network goals. After this, the current weaknesses the company faces whether it be; on their socials, within their goal statements or anywhere along their digital marketing platform that lacks consumer enhancement and impressions. When looking for possible opportunities this comes from outside the company, as to where my digital consulting should try to put our efforts with what is going on in the digital and physical environments. The last and arguably the most important, is containing and realizing possible threats that could impact the company in the near future. Negating this allows for a better reputation for the company itself and for my consulting needs going further.
